Tim Johnston (born Iowa City) is the author of the story collection ''Irish Girl'' and the novel ''Never So Green''. ==Life== He graduated from the University of Iowa, and the University of Massachusetts Amherst.〔http://www.pw.org/content/tim_johnston〕 He worked as a carpenter.〔http://web3.unt.edu/untpress/catalog/detail.cfm?ID=322〕 He is the 2011 Jenny McKean Moore Writer-in-Residence at The George Washington University.
